Kathleen and John Cronin welcome you to Atlantic House B&B, their comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation near the enchanting West Cork village of Castletownshend. Atlantic House is located 1 km (¾ mile) west of the village on the Coast Road as it wends its way between Castletownshend and Toe Head. The 'Wild Atlantic Way', Ireland's newly designated scenic touring route, runs right past the front gate!

Atlantic House offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil setting overlooking the mouth of Castletownshend harbour, known locally as Castlehaven, with the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

Our aim is for our guests at Atlantic House B&B to feel completely at home from the moment they arrive in Castletownshend, whether their stay is for one night or many. Comfortable bedrooms are at the heart of any accommodation and the rooms at Atlantic House are exceptionally well appointed and tastefully decorated in keeping with the surroundings. In the morning you can enjoy a traditional Irish breakfast, individually prepared while you admire the sea view from the dining room.

Castletownshend is one of the most unspoilt and picturesque villages in West Cork. Its streets are steeped in history and the surrounding countryside is dotted with interesting sites. There are pubs and a restaurant in Castletownshend and many more in the nearby market town of Skibbereen, sometimes called the 'capital' of West Cork. We are also close to Clonakilty & Kinsale. If you plan on touring THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY Car Hire is available at Cork City from City Car Rentals or at Cork Airport Car Hire.

Whale and dolphin watching, angling (in lakes, rivers and the sea), golf, sailing, kayaking are all available in the local West Cork area and we would be happy to arrange any of these activities for you during your stay at Atlantic House.

For visitors that would like to travel further a field Killarney and the beautiful ring of Kerry, Bantry or Cork city are all between 30 and 90 minutes drive away from our bed and breakfast.
